HEADWAY BLACK COUNTRY is headed by a management committee whose members are Trustees of the Company.

The Committee consist of an Honorary Chairperson, an Hon. Vice Chair, an Hon Secretary, an Hon. Treasurer and a number of the other members, all of whom possess the variety of complementary skills and experience that are neccessary adequately to perform the multitudinous tasks needed to fulfill the statutory and lega requirements of running our faily large operation.

The majority have direct experience of the effects of acquired brain injury; other trustee members have expertise in health, social care, business, local goverment, financial and charity organisation

The day-to-day running of the company is effected by a Development Manager and several Day Opportunities Co-ordinators who are ably assisted by volunteers. They help to provide the one-on-one attention that some of our clients need. We provide training for our Volunteers, to acquaint them with some of the problems that can be met with in the course of daily contact with Clients.

We have some sub-committees to address areas such as finance and quality. Meetings of these bodies are on an "as needed" basis.

Headway Black Country is priviledged to work with a dedicated and loyal and capable staff, who are ably backed up by the Honarary Committee Members and a number of other supporters.

The Committees' thanks go out to them all for their great personal contributions in thought, time and money, all of which are directed towards the benefit of those with brain injury related dissabilities.
