Headway Black Country provides support to individuals and families following acquired brain injury.
The organisation does this through telephone enquiries and in-person meetings. In addition, it also facilitates support groups for carers in Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton areas of the Black Country. Meetings are held on a monthly basis at local venues.
The purpose of the groups is to offer a regular opportunity for mutual support & understanding as well as provision & exchange of information e.g. through talks from invited speakers.
Feedback from participants in the groups is also used to help shape the future direction of service provision. Brain injury survivors, their relatives and carers as well as interested professionals are welcome to attend. Please contact the office for further details.
