Volunteering for Headway Black Country

What is Volunteering?

Choosing to  give some of your time and energy without pay for the benefit of the community  and the individual.

Why Volunteer? Well, you can....

  •     Learn New Skills
  •   Develop your confidence
  •   Gain  experience in the field of social care
  •   Develop new interests
  •   Meet new  people
  •   Share hobbies and interests
  •   Get involved

Who can Volunteer?

There is not an ideal type of Volunteer and we feel that everyone has the potential to offer  something. Consider the following:

  •         Are you caring, respectful, non-judgmental, flexible?
  •         Are you willing to support people from diffeent backgrounds and outlooks?
  •         Do you have a sense of humour?
  •         Are you over 18 years old?
  •         Do you have some free time on your hands?

If you feel  that you can relate to these characteristics and personality traits then you may  be an ideal choice for Voluntary Work with Headway Black  Country. A Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check would be made.
